[T-166X]

$0.80

Namasté Definition (Na-ma-stay): A traditional Indian greeting taken from the root words Namas (bow) and Te (acknowledging the presence of divinity in another). A simple translation of Namaste is “I bow to the divine in you” (often spoken by a yoga namaste instructor and students concluding a yoga class.)

Another Namasté Definition is "I honor that place in you where the whole Universe resides. When I am in that place in me and you are in that place in you, we are one”.

The meaning of Namaste may vary some but is commonly said with hands together in front of the heart and head gently bowed.

As defined by Mahatma Gandhi: In India when people meet and part they often say, Namaste' which means: "I honor the place within you where the entire Universe resides; I honor the place within you of love, of light, of truth, of peace; I honor the place within you, where, when you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, there is only one of us."
