Richard Nixon (1913–1994) was the 37th President of the United States from 1969–1974 and was also the 36th Vice President of the United States (1953–1961). Nixon was the only President to resign the office and also the only person to be elected twice to both the Presidency and the Vice Presidency.
In the face of likely impeachment for his role in the Watergate scandal, Nixon resigned on August 9, 1974.
Frank Kozik was born in Madrid, Spain. At the age of 14 he moved to the United States and settled in Austin, Texas. Credited with single handedly reviving the "lost" art of the concert poster, Frank's creative career grew largely out of his enthusiasm for Austin's growing underground rock scene in the mid-eighties. Starting with black and white flyers for friends' bands posted on telephone poles, his reputation grew as an artist whose work was arresting as well as gripping.
Kozik is currently based in San Francisco, California, where he produces artwork and graphics, and formerly managed his own record label, Man's Ruin as well as Rise Records. His work is well known to devotees of album-cover art and concert flyer art. He has produced artwork for musicians such as Pearl Jam,Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Neil Young, Sonic Youth & Red Hot Chili Peppers.
